Senior Class Information

 

The Plaquemine Parish School Board hosted a College and Career Expo on the BCHS campus, Tuesday, October 11, 2022. The Senior Classes from Belle Chasse High School, Phoenix High School, The Plaquemines Learning Center, and South Plaquemines High School attended. Also in attendance were over 50 Colleges, Businesses, Government Organizations, and Community Stakeholders.

 

The Class of 2023 started their experience in the BCHS Auditorium with a presentation. They learned which programs and course of studies the schools/businesses offered. This helped them narrow who they should visit with during the browse session.

After the presentation, the students browsed booths set up by the various schools and businesses. The students had the chance to meet one on one and ask questions and get information.

 

 

 

Beginning with the class of 2018, completing the FAFSA is a graduation requirement. To assist the C/O 2020 in meeting this requirement, Mrs. LeBlanc met with students in the Financial Literacy and Statistics classes in late September and early October. The purpose of FAFSA was discussed. Students were given information on financial aid, FAFSA, and college planning. Please refer to the handout below for more information on the FAFSA.
