Introduction
Greetings! My name is Elise Comiskey and I have been teaching World History and Law Studies at Belle Chasse High School for 6 years. I also coach the Girls Cross Country Team and the Sprinters and Throwers in Track and Field. Not only do I have a passion for the social studies and for running, I also enjoy hanging out with my family, friends, and dog and I love reading books about historical fiction and true crime. Born and raised in New Orleans, LA, I graduated from St. Mary's Dominican High School and the University of New Orleans with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Secondary Social Studies Education (Grades 6-12). I have taught both middle school and high school at schools in the New Orleans area, but I have definitely found my home at BCHS. I cannot wait to start this new school year and to get to know you.
