Introduction

Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year! I'm Allison McLellan, and I teach English III and AP Literature and Composition. This school year marks my 13th year as an educator and my 8th year at BCHS. Additionally, I oversee ACT Tutoring for English, and I participate with a team of teachers to provide ACT prep for students prior to a national test date. 

 

I attended the Ogden Honor College at Louisiana State University; my bachelor's degree is in English Literature with a minor in history. After college, I entered the classroom as a teacher. A few years later, I earned a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of New Orleans. I look forward to working with my students to help them become better readers, writers, and thinkers!
