Mr. Casey McMann Louisiana State Finalist for Teacher Of The Year Casey McMann Named one of Louisiana’s Top 25 TeachersBelle Chasse High School is very proud to announce that, Mr. Casey McMann has been selected on of Louisianan’s top 25 teachers. The competition began at the school level where he was named BCHS Teacher of the year. After the school wide completion Mr. McMann competed against the other Plaquemines parish high school teachers of the year. At the Region I completion Mr. McMann again took top honors being named Region I Teacher of the Year. Mr. McMann will compete this summer for Louisiana Teacher of the Year. Mr. McMann graduated from Jesuit High School as his class valedictorian. Mr. McMann earned his bachelor’s degree in Biological Engineering and his Master of Arts in Secondary Education from Louisiana State University. During his 4 year tenure as a teacher of Biology and Honors Physics at BCHS Mr. McMann has been designated as a Teacher Leader, and is currently serving as head Track and Field coach.Congratulations and Good Luck Mr. McMann!
