Introduction

About Me:

My name is Josh Mire! The 2020-2021 school year will be my 5th year teaching at Belle Chasse High School.  Currently I teach IBCA, Digital Media 1, and Digital Media 2. I was born and raised in Marrero, Louisiana where I attended Archbishop Shaw High School. I earned my Bachelors Degree in Business Management and a Masters Degree in Sports Administration from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.

While attending ULM I worked in the athletic marketing department where I was in charge of various marketing duties. Before I graduated with my Masters Degree, I was offered a full time job as the Assistant Marketing Director for the ULM athletic department. In that role, I oversaw and implemented the ULM Athletics marketing plan which helped to break various attendance records in several sports. I helped design various advertisements both still and video mediums. Overall I worked in athletic marketing for over 6 years before I moved home and became a teacher. I use my experience in athletic marketing to teach my classes.  I strive to connect the real world to the high school classroom to really prepare my students for the next part of their lives.
