Read the following article about people moving to suburbs and describe why this is happening. Describe which location you would choose when considering your own place. Why? Explain the 5 main points of the article and then write a 5-7 sentence reflection on where you would live and why.

Watch the following videos and determine if you think the world has an overpopulation problem. Explain your stance in 6-8 sentences and list 5 bullet point key reasons.

Watch the following videos and describe in a 5-7 sentence paragraph which voting system you think is best and why. Then list a positive and negative for each voting system.

Complete all of the modules with over 50% correct for the course and receive a free CLEP Voucher. You will take your CLEP soon and need to complete this before the weekend. I attached a quizlet to help you. Attach a screenshot of the modules complete to receive full credit.

Describe 2 positives and negatives of each type of government system in a google slide show. Must include 2 pictures of historic examples of each government type.

Create a powerpoint displaying the 3 different types of authority. Create a title page, 2 slides per type of authority, a related picture for each slide, and an example of each one in history.

Use the link to analyze 4 different families from across the world who range drastically in socioeconomic status. Read their family biography paragraph, look at the photos of their belongings, and gain understanding of how they live. Then answer the questions for each family that you analyzed and write a free response reflection regarding any realizations you gained.

Play the game Spent to understand the difficulties of living in poverty. Only when you successfully complete the month with extra money, reflect on your experience by answering the following questions in 3 complete sentences.
1. What were the most difficult decisions you had to make? Why?
2. How did your lack of money affect your ability to be kind and generous?
3. What emotions were you feeling as you went through this experience?
4. Put yourself in the shoes of someone living this life of poverty and describe what lessons you learned from playing this.
5. How were your emotional, physical, and mental health impacted by these decisions you had to make?

If you choose to make up any missing work to be turned in by October 1st for credit, you MUST FILL OUT THIS FORM for me to grade it. I will not go searching for what you made up in all of those assignments.

Watch these commercials dealing with cultural differences and describe the cultural misunderstanding in EACH ONE. Also, explain a time where you someone was confused, or you were confused by someone elses cultural practices/beliefs. (It doesn't have to be another country, our cultural practices can differ from family to family).

Read the article and write a 7-10 sentence reflection about what you found most interesting and surprising about the article AND give a personal example of a time you felt culture shock.

To really think about how our culture shapes us, you will create a Google Slideshow displaying your personal material & nonmaterial culture that holds meaning in your life. Must include at least 6 of EACH. Include a picture or visual representation of it & why it is important to you culturally.
