Introduction

My name is Mandy Fitzgerald.  The 2020-2021 school year will be my 22nd year of teaching in Plaquemines Parish schools. I was born and raised in Plaquemines Parish. I earned a Bachelors degree in Biological Sciences from Southeastern Louisiana University.  I have a minor in Spanish and Chemistry.  I earned my teacher certification from Our Lady of Holy Cross college.  I currently teach Environmental Science at Belle Chasse High School. Prior to Hurricane Katrina, I taught at Boothville Venice High School for 7 years and became part of Belle Chasse High School after Hurricane Katrina. I am looking forward to a great, exciting school year!
