You will have a test on The Metamorphosis Chapters 1-3 tomorrow, Thursday, December 14, 2017.  Please bring your copy of the novella to class tomorrow since you will be able to use it during the test. 
 
Your Socratic Seminar Reflection on The Metamorphosis is due Thursday as well.  The answers to the questions discussed in class have been attached to an assignment in Google Classroom so that you can better answers several of the questions on the Socratic Seminar Reflection Rubric.  
 
You have been given a copy of the terms needed for the final exam.  These are due on Monday and are worth bonus points on your final exam for the class.  
 
If you missed the Socratic Seminar, you are responsible for the replacement assignment given on Monday.  You must write a five-paragraph essay on The Metamorphosis.  You must write an essay on the following topic:  What is a possible theme shown in The Metamorphosis.  You must have an introduction (Hook, tag, thesis), two body paragraphs with a minimum of two cited quotes per paragraphs, and a conclusion.  This is due on Thursday, December 14, 2017, when you enter class.  You MUST turn it in before the end of class in order to receive any points for this assignment.
